La ciudad productiva: el gran momento de la agricultura urbana

  • A diferencia de la mayoría de las empresas agrícolas rurales, la agricultura urbana adquiere a menudo un rol en la educación ambiental: ya sea como una oportunidad económica, ya sea reflejando los deseos de estilos de vida urbanos alternativos. Agrarbörse no sólo está formando horticultores, sino que logra un considerable reconocimiento y financiación a través de su trabajo con los jóvenes, especialmente a través de su proyecto Treibhaus [invernadero] un centro juvenil para jóvenes que no están relacionados con la agricultura urbana (Agrarbörse s.f.).
  • Así, los espacios concebidos en una ciudad productora de alimentos, tales como una ciudad CPUL, son no solo rendidores en cuanto a la producción de alimentos, sino que su uso diario también es recomendable por motivos de salud, justicia, estabilidad económica y sociabilidad.
